HNLU Raipur: HNLU Raipur was established in 2003 by the Chhattisgarh Government under the Hidayatullah National University of Law, Chhattisgarh, Act of 2003. The university is an autonomous body offering law courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. It is the sixth NLU in the series of national Law Schools. The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)  and is named after the former Chief Justice of India, Justice Mohammad Hidayatullah.

• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria as stated by the university for the HNLU admissions.
• Eligible candidates must fill out the application form available on the official website.
• Fill in your credentials in the application form and upload the mandatory documents in the required format.
• Submit the admission fee and complete the admission formalities for admission to the university.

HNLU BA.LL.B (Hons) Admission

How to Apply for HNLU BA.LL.B (Hons)?

• Candidates have to appear for the CLAT UG entrance exam and obtain valid results.
• The Consortium of Law Universities will release the official CLAT cut-off.
• Eligible candidates can participate in the counseling process.
• Candidates have to choose HNLU Raipur as their first preference during choice-filling.
• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CLAT results, preference list, and availability of seats.
• The university assigns seats in five rounds. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round have three options i.e., accept the seat, participate in the next round, or withdraw from the counseling.
• To confirm their seats. candidates have to visit the campus and complete the admission formalities.
• The university reserves 5% seats for the Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and 3% seats for the Dependents of Freedom Fighters (DFF) category of candidates belonging to the state of Chhattisgarh only.

How to Apply for HNLU LL.M?

• Candidates have to appear for the CLAT PG entrance exam.
• The CLAT PG cut-off will be announced by the respective authorities.
• After meeting the CLAT cutoff candidates can proceed with the counseling process.
• Choose HNLU Raipur as your first preference in the choice field.
• The candidates are shortlisted based on the CLAT PG scores, preference list, availability of seats, and their category.
• The counseling includes 5 rounds. Candidates who have been selected in the first round have three options i.e., accept the seat, move to the next round, or withdraw from the counseling.
• To freeze their seats, candidates have to visit the college campus an complete the remaining admission formalities.

How to Apply for an HNLU PhD?

• The university conducts the All India PhD entrance test for admission under PhD course.
• Candidates who have cleared UGC NET or SLET are exempted from the written test.
• The shortlisted candidates have to present their research papers to the Admission Committee, followed by an interview.
• To confirm their seats, candidates have to pay the admission fee and verify their documents.
