SLAT Syllabus 2024: Symbiosis International University has provided the names of major subjects covered in the SLAT 2024 exam syllabus. The latest SLAT Syllabus 2024 encompasses five major subjects which has three reasoning subjects viz. Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, and two other subjects namely Reading Comprehension , and General Knowledge .
As candidates begin their preparation for the SLAT 2024 exam they must first familiarise themselves with the SLAT syllabus and exam pattern. The SLAT or Symbiosis Law Aptitude Test 2024 is all set to be held in two phases in May for admission into 5-year LLB programmes at SLS Pune, SLS Hyderabad, SLS Noida, and SLS Nagpur. With a limited time in hand, candidates must not delay their preparation. The SLAT selection process is segmented into three distinct phases which are:- SLAT Entrance Examination: This is an objective-format entrance examination comprising five sections: legal reasoning, logical reasoning, general knowledge, analytical reasoning, and English comprehension.
- Written Ability Test or WAT: Following the SLAT exam, candidates face a single descriptive question of 30 minutes duration. Only if the candidates surpass the SLAT cutoff, will this test be assessed.
- Personal Interview (PI): Those candidates who meet the SLAT and WAT cutoff criteria will receive an invitation for this stage. This phase stands as the ultimate selection round as per the SLAT Paper Pattern.
SLAT Syllabus 2024 -Sectional Wise Topics
There will be a total of 5 sections in the SLAT Question Paper 2024. The exam will be of 60 minutes duration in the 09:00 am - 10:00 am slot. Each section has equal weightage in the SLAT exam as per the official website of SIU. SLAT Exam Pattern 2024
The SLAT examination consists of five sections. Within each section, there will be 12 multiple-choice questions based on the SLAT syllabus. All questions are of the objective type (MCQs) with each having four options. Candidates will be allowed 60 minutes to solve the question paper. SLAT Written Ability Test (WAT)
Following the completion of the SLAT examination, there will be an additional evaluation known as the Writing Ability Test (WAT). This WAT test for 2024 will last for 30 minutes. During this period, candidates are required to compose a brief essay on a provided topic.- The SLAT WAT Round is allocated a total of 20 marks.
- As outlined in the SLAT exam pattern, the WAT round will be conducted independently by each college.
- Candidates will be presented with two topics, from which they must choose one to write an essay.
