CAT Exam 2023: As the CAT 2023 exam approaches with just one day remaining, it is very important for candidates to keep in mind a set of five important guidelines before heading to the examination hall. The significant exam day is imminent, and understandably, many candidates may be engrossed in their last-minute revisions. Nevertheless, it is imperative for candidates to be mindful of specific instructions they are required to follow prior to entering the examination centers. 1. Carry a printed copy of the admit card with a passport-size photo on it. Digital copies won't be accepted—only a color printout on A4 size paper is valid.
2. Bring a government-issued ID card along with the admit card.
3. Keep the admit card safe even after the exam; you might need it during the admission process.
4. The admit card proves your attendance in the exam and is required for the MBA admission interview.
5. Arrive 90 minutes before the exam, following the instructions on the admit card.
6. The photo on the printed admit card should match the one uploaded during registration.

3. Carry a Government-issued ID Card:

• These documents are crucial for confirming identity and are commonly needed in official and security processes.

4. Dress Code

1. Footwear:
   • Avoid wearing footwear with thick soles in the examination hall.
   • Simple and comfortable sandals or slippers are recommended.
2. Jewelry:
   • Wearing any jewelry containing metals is strictly prohibited.
   • Avoid necklaces, heavy earrings, nose pins, anklets, or any other metallic adornments.
3. Clothing:
   • Closed footwear, caps, jackets, clothes with pockets, and large buttons are not allowed inside the exam hall.
   • Avoid wearing clothes with multiple pockets, layers, and metallic trims.

5. PwD Candidates:

1. Medical Certificate:
   • PwD candidates must present an original medical certificate issued by a competent medical authority to substantiate their claim of disability.
2. Scribe Affidavit:
   • Candidates with disabilities requiring a scribe's assistance must submit an affidavit.
   • The scribe affidavit is a formal document certifying the candidate's inability to write and the scribe's agreement to assist during the exam.
3. Compensatory Time:
   • PwD candidates unable to type due to their disability may be granted compensatory time during the exam.
   • This extra time is provided to accommodate physical limitations and ensure a fair testing environment.
4. Exemption from Typing/Data Entry Test:
   • PwD candidates unable to type due to their disability will be exempted from the typing/data entry test.
5. Compliance with Examination Guidelines:
   • PwD candidates must follow specific dress code regulations and other guidelines outlined by the CAT conducting body, as indicated on the CAT 2023 admit card.
