CAT Slot Timings 2025 are included in the official CAT 2025 admit card, which has been released on 12th November 2025. This means your personal exam schedule is now confirmed. The three standard sessions are the CAT Slot 1 timing (Morning, 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM), the CAT Slot 2 timing (Afternoon, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM), and the CAT Slot 3 timing (Evening, 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM).
Your assigned slot is printed clearly on your admit card. You must now use this specific CAT slot timing to schedule all remaining mock tests and align your study pattern.
CAT Slot Timings 2025
The structure of the CAT exam is maintained across all sessions. Each test session lasts for 120 minutes (2 hours). It is divided into three sections with strict sectional time limits. The sectional time limit for General Category candidates is 40 minutes per section. PwD candidates receive an extra 20 minutes per section.

How to Check Your CAT Slot Timings 2025?
Your specific test time and location are assigned to you by the IIMs. Candidates cannot choose their preferred slot. CAT slot timings can be checked after downloading the official CAT 2025 admit card.

Click on the link to download the CAT 2025 Admit Card.

Your admit card will clearly mention the exam Date, Test Slot, and CAT Slot Timing. It also includes the Reporting Time, Gate Closing Time, as well as the Exam Centre Name and Address.
Which CAT Slot Is Easy?
It is essential to understand that IIMs use a normalization process (scaling) to adjust scores and neutralize any differences in difficulty level between the three slots. Therefore, theoretically, the difficulty level is balanced.
