CMAT Exam Analysis 2023 - The morning session of the CMAT 2023 exam was of moderate difficulty, while the afternoon session was relatively easier. The Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation section posed a bit more challenge compared to the other sections, which were generally straightforward.

• In Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, which included 15 questions from the QA section and 5 questions from the DI section, the difficulty level varied. The DI questions covered topics like pie charts, tables, partnerships, and geometry.

• In the Verbal Logic section, questions spanned statement assumptions, analogies, statement assertions, arguments, and identifying odd ones.
• The Logical Reasoning section featured questions on directions, blood relations, syllogism, number series, accounting figures, and finding missing numbers. It also included topics like coding, decoding, counting figures, letter series, mathematical order, and linear arrangements.
• Language comprehension primarily tests vocabulary skills.

• The General Awareness section included questions on various subjects such as chemistry, constitutional India, static history, dance forms and their states, authors and books, national parks, countries and capitals, GDP, currency notes, the Commonwealth Games, geography, rivers, inventions and inventors, and the Chief of Naval Staff.
• The Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I & E) section covered topics like Angel Investor, Atal Innovation Mission, low-end disruptive innovations, FIIB venture capital, business goals, urbanization, family business and startups, and types of entrepreneurs.
• Overall, the students found some of the Quant questions tricky, while the GK section was relatively easy. The Quant section featured 5 DI sets, all of which were considered easy.
• As per the students' reactions, candidates aiming for JBIMS in CMAT Shift 1 may need to score over 330 to secure an interview call.
• Additionally, there was one incorrect question in QA, and a few questions in LR were also deemed incorrect by students.

1. General Awareness: The section featured 20 questions, predominantly on static GK, with some current affairs questions. Overall, it was of medium difficulty.
2. Innovation and Entrepreneurship: With 20 questions, this section primarily covered business and entrepreneurship concepts, presenting a moderate level of difficulty.
3. Language Comprehension: Comprising 21 questions, including 5 reading comprehension and 16 non-RC questions, this section offered passages of manageable length and relatively easy questions.
4. Logical Reasoning: Out of the 20 questions, 12 were non-verbal reasoning, and 8 were verbal reasoning. These questions spanned various topics within logical reasoning and were generally straightforward.
5. Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation: Of the 20 questions, 5 were on data interpretation, featuring tables, while 15 focused on quantitative techniques. Arithmetic dominated the quantitative questions, making them mostly easy, though there was an issue with one probability question.
