Calculation of CMAT 2025 Score
NTA computes candidates' CMAt scores based on their performance and the CMAT marking scheme. The CMAT exam is scored out of a total of 400 marks. To calculate the CMAT score, candidates must follow the guidelines provided below:
For each correct answer, candidates get 4 points.
Each incorrect answer results in a deduction of 1 point.
Candidates get zero for unanswered questions.
The final score is derived by using the following formula: CMAT Raw Score = {(4 No. of correct answers) - Total No. of incorrect answers}
Calculation of CMAT 2025 Percentile
To determine the CMAT percentile, candidates need to consider their rank relative to the other test takers. The percentile is calculated using the following formula: CMAT Percentile = 100 ( No. of candidates with raw score less than or equal to the candidate Total No. of candidates ) For instance, if 10,000 candidates took the CMAT 2025 and a candidate achieved the highest score, their rank would be 1. In this case, their CMAT percentile would be calculated as follows: Percentile= 10,000−1 10000 ×100= 99.99
In previous years, NTA released CMAT results nearly 20-21 days after taking the exam. Following the same trend, this year also NTA announced the CMAT result 20 days after conducting the exam.
