IIM Ahmedabad Exit Scholarships 2024

• Entrepreneurship Scholarships: Graduates who choose to become entrepreneurs can receive a monthly allowance of INR 40,000 for up to three years. To qualify, they must skip placement opportunities and present a solid business plan. This scholarship has been available since the 2014-16 batch.
• Not-for-Profit Organization Scholarships: To encourage careers in the social sector, two students from each batch can receive scholarships of INR 3 lakhs to 4 lakhs annually for up to three years. This program started with the 2015-17 batch.
• Doctoral Studies Scholarships: Two students per batch who pursue doctoral studies, either in India or abroad, can receive INR 3 to 4 lakhs per year for up to three years. This scholarship has been offered since the 2015-17 batch.

Government of India Scholarships at IIM Ahmedabad

• SC/ST Scholarships: Under the Central Sector Scheme for Top Class Education, talented SC students with family incomes up to INR 8 lakhs and ST students with incomes up to INR 6 lakhs are eligible.
• Minority Welfare Scholarship: This scholarship is for students from minority communities whose annual family income is up to INR 2.5 lakhs.
• Scholarships for Students with Disabilities: This scholarship is given to PwD (Persons with Disabilities) students with a total family income of up to INR 6 lakhs per year.

IIM Ahmedabad Alumni-Driven Scholarships 2024

• PGP Alumni Endowment Funds: This scholarship gives INR 1-3 lakhs to students from economically and socially challenged backgrounds.
• PGP 2001 - Peri Viswanath Scholarship: Two second-year students can receive INR 5 lakhs based on their merit and financial need.
• PGP 1969 Batch Scholarship: This scholarship provides up to INR 5 lakhs to two first-year students based on their academic performance.
• PGP 2003 Batch Fund Scholarship: One first-year and one second-year student can each receive up to INR 2.5 lakhs.
• Shri GC Mital Entrepreneurship Aid: This scholarship offers INR 2 lakhs to one graduating student who is starting a business.
• Smt J Nagamma Memorial Award: First-year students who excel academically can receive an INR 15,000 scholarship.

IIM Ahmedabad Corporate Scholarships 2024

• Citi-IIMA Scholarship: Provides INR 8 lakhs to three first-year students based on merit.
• Dainik Bhaskar Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Offers up to INR 5.6 lakhs each for eight first-year students.
• Mirae Asset Foundation Scholarship: Awards INR 5 lakhs each to three first-year students.
• Aditya Birla Group Scholarships: Provides INR 1.75 lakhs per year to two or three top-performing students.
• OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarship: Offers INR 1.5 lakhs to one or two students based on academic performance.
• T. Thomas Scholarship: Awards INR 1 lakh to a second-year student based on merit-cum-means criteria.
• IDFC First Bank Scholarship: Provides INR 1 lakh per year to seven to eight students based on financial need.

General Conditions for Scholarships and Financial Aid

• Disciplinary Violations: Students who break the Institute’s rules or engage in misconduct will not qualify for scholarships or financial aid.
• Minimum Grade Points: The Financial Aid and Awards Committee may require students to maintain a minimum grade point to be eligible for scholarships.
• Multiple Awards: Students can receive more than one scholarship or financial aid in a year, but:
  • There must be no objections from the sponsors.
  • The total aid should not exceed the actual yearly expenses, including program fees, other charges, boarding, lodging, and personal expenses up to Rs. 30,000, payable to IIMA.
• Notification Requirement: Students receiving additional financial aid from outside the Institute must inform the Admissions Office.
• Subject to Change: Scholarship and financial aid terms may change at the discretion of the Institute or sponsors.
• Withdrawal of Aid: The Institute can withdraw scholarships or financial aid if:
  • False information is found in the application.
  • There is a breach of disciplinary norms.
  • There is evidence of misconduct.
• Final Decisions: The Financial Aid and Awards Committee's decisions on scholarships and financial aid are final.
