IIM Calcutta Selection Criteria 2025: IIM Calcutta has announced the selection criteria for the MBA batch of 2025-2027, which is the same as last year. According to the admission criteria, candidates in the General category need a minimum CAT 2024 score of 85 percentile to qualify.

The Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) together hold a weightage of 56 points in the final selection. For the PI shortlist, the CAT exam score has a weightage of 56 points, and it has a weightage of 30 points for the final selection.

IIM Calcutta Selection Criteria 2025-2027

According to IIM Calcutta's Admission Policy for the 2025-2027 MBA batch, candidates need at least 50% in their graduation (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) to meet the academic eligibility. The Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round will be conducted online in February 2025.
  • IIM Calcutta will shortlist candidates about three weeks after the CAT 2024 results are announced. This year, the final CAT cutoff is expected to be between the 98-99 percentile.
