1. Familiarize yourself with the exam pattern and syllabus : Thoroughly understand the NMAT 2025 exam pattern, which consists of three sections - Quantitative Skills, Language Skills, and Logical Reasoning. Each section has 36 questions and a specific time limit. Ensure that you are well-versed with the syllabus and have practiced enough questions to be confident in each section.
2. Practice with mock tests : Take as many mock tests as possible to get accustomed to the exam format, time management, and the types of questions asked. This will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, allowing you to focus your preparation accordingly.
3. Ensure your system meets the technical requirements : If you are taking the exam in online proctored mode from home, make sure your system meets the technical requirements specified by GMAC. This includes a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone. Test your system well in advance to avoid any last-minute issues.

NMAT 2025 Guidelines: On the Exam Day

1. Arrive early : If you are taking the exam at a test center, arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled exam time. This will give you enough time to complete the check-in process and settle down before the exam begins.
2. Carry the necessary documents : Bring the following documents with you to the exam center or have them ready if taking the exam online:
   • NMAT 2025 admit card (downloaded from your NMAT account)
   • A valid, non-expired photo ID proof (Aadhar card, voter ID, driver's license, PAN card, or passport)
   • Confirmation email with exam details (if taking the exam at a test center)
3. Follow the COVID-19 guidelines : If taking the exam at a test center, follow the COVID-19 guidelines strictly. Wear a mask, maintain social distancing, and bring your own hand sanitizer.
4. Avoid carrying prohibited items : Do not carry any electronic devices, such as mobile phones, smart watches, or Bluetooth devices, to the exam center. Also, avoid carrying loose sheets or papers.
5. Adhere to the exam rules : Carefully read and follow the exam rules and instructions provided by GMAC. These rules cover aspects such as the use of the calculator, rough work, and the consequences of any misconduct.

NMAT 2025 Guidelines: Exam Check-in Process

1. Test Center Check-in : At the test center, you will need to complete the following steps:
   • Present your admit card and valid photo ID for verification
   • Undergo biometric verification (fingerprint scan)
   • Store your belongings in the designated locker
   • Be escorted to your assigned workstation
2. Online Proctored Exam Check-in : If taking the exam online, you will need to complete the following steps:
   • Login to your NMAT account and click on the "Start Exam" button
   • Complete the ID verification process by taking a picture of yourself and your signature
   • Show your admit card, photo ID, and confirmation email to the proctor
   • Answer a security question for authentication
   • Confirm the user agreements and exam rules

NMAT 2025 Guidelines: During the Exam

1. Time management : Manage your time effectively during the exam. Each section has a specific time limit, so ensure that you allocate enough time for each question and section.
2. Rough work : If taking the exam at a test center, use the rough worksheets provided to you for any calculations or notes. Do not write on the admit card or any other document.
3. Breaks : There are no scheduled breaks during the NMAT 2025 exam. However, if you need to use the restroom, you can do so by raising your hand and seeking permission from the proctor.

NMAT 2025 Guidelines: After the Exam

1. Exam feedback : After submitting the exam, you will be asked to provide feedback on your exam experience. This feedback is important for GMAC to improve the exam process.
2. Score reporting : Your NMAT 2025 score will be available within 48 hours of taking the exam. You can access your score report through your NMAT account.
3. Score sending : You can send your NMAT 2025 score to up to five B-schools of your choice. This can be done through your NMAT account.
