SNAP 2023 Exam Day Guidelines- Things to Do

Before leaving for the examination centre, it is advised to print a colour copy of the SNAP admit card 2023 on an A4 size paper. Additionally, candidates need to bring a black or blue ballpoint pen for signing the attendance sheet and to do the rough work during the exam. Other notable dos for the SNAP exam day 2023 include the following:
  • For the SNAP Shift 1 exam, candidates must reach the exam centre by 12:00 PM so they get ample time to complete the identity and biometric checks. For the Shift 2 exam, candidates should arrive at the test centre by 02:30 PM.
  • Candidates must note that the authorities won't permit anyone to enter the exam centre after 02:00 PM for Shift 01 and after 04:30 PM for Shift 02, regardless of the circumstances.
  • During the test, candidates must submit their SNAP admit cards 2023 for verification along with an original copy of the valid ID proof such as Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Aadhaar Card.
  • In case a candidate changes their name, supporting documents like a Marriage Certificate, Divorce Decree, or Legal Name Change must be provided.
  • Inside the SNAP exam hall, the check-in process involves biometric data capture, including fingerprint and image. Adhere to the specified procedures for timely entry into the exam hall.

Besides knowing the things to follow on the SNAP exam day, candidates must also understand the things or steps to avoid. Here are the notable don'ts for the SNAP exam day:
  • Candidates should strictly avoid arriving at the test centre later than the reporting time specified on their SNAP 2023 admit card.
  • SIU strictly prohibits candidates from carrying electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, or any smart devices.
  • Parents or guardians accompanying candidates on the SNAP exam day must not attempt to enter the exam centre or examination hall in any circumstance.
  • Candidates should not attempt to exchange their assigned workstations or engage in any form of malpractice during the examination.
  • Once candidates enter the SNAP exam hall, they must avoid requesting the invigilator to leave the hall. Candidates are only allowed to get out of the exam hall once the exam is over at the scheduled time.
  • After attempting the SNAP exam 2023, candidates should return the sheets used for rough work to the invigilators. Carrying the rough notes outside the examination hall is not permitted in the SNAP exam.
  • Since SNAP 2023 is a one-hour examination, candidates must avoid wasting time. No extra time is allowed except for PwD candidates, who are allowed an additional 40 minutes.
