How To Calculate SNAP Marks

In the SNAP exam, a maximum score of 60 marks is adjusted to 50 during the calculation of the cutoff and weightage for shortlisting. Each Symbiosis Institute sets its own SNAP cutoffs for the final selection process. The SNAP score is determined using the following formula: SNAP Score=(No. of Correct Answers×1)−(No. of Incorrect Answers×0.25)SNAP Score=(No. of Correct Answers×1)−(No. of Incorrect Answers×0.25) This formula takes into account the number of correct and incorrect answers, with correct responses contributing positively to the score and incorrect ones leading to a deduction.

How To Calculate SNAP Percentile

To find the SNAP percentile, you can use this simple formula: SNAP Percentile=(Total Number of Candidates−Rank of a Candidate/Total Number of Candidates)×100 For example, let's say there are 50,000 candidates who took the exam, and a candidate has a rank of 5,000. To calculate their SNAP percentile: SNAP Percentile=(50,000−5,000/50,000)×100=90 SNAP Percentile=(50,000/50,000−5,000)×100=90 So, in this example, the SNAP percentile for the candidate with a rank of 5,000 would be 90.
