TISSNET Exam 2024 Cancelled: TISS has officially cancelled the TISS National Entrance Test (NET) to shortlist candidates for PG programmes. In the latest notification, TISS authorities announced that in the academic year 2024-25, admission to MBA courses will happen according to candidates' scores in CAT 2023. For admission to other PG courses, TISS will consider CUET PG scores.
TISS offers two MBA courses: Human Resource Management & Labor Relations and an MA in Organization Development, Change, & Leadership. Following the directives of the Ministry of Education and UGC, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences cancelled the TISSNET exam date 2024. To conduct admissions to master's courses, the institute will consider candidates' CAT 2023 and CUET PG scores. The institute also stated that the CAT and CUET PG examination offers a comprehensive opportunity for all postgraduate candidates.

Previously, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences administered the national TISSNET examination to select candidates for 57 master's programs at the Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, and Guwahati campuses. The TISSNET exam for the academic year 2024-25 has been cancelled. Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has decided to discontinue TISSNET for postgraduate admissions and will now rely on the Common University Entrance Test for Post-Graduate (CUET PG) 2024, except for two courses, which will consider the Common Admission Test (CAT) for selection. The TISSNET cancellation notification was released on November 14, 2023. The TISSNET 2024 exam will not be conducted, and the admission process for the 2024-25 session will be based on the CUET PG scores for most PG courses and CAT scores for two specific courses.
