What After MAH MBA CET 2024 Result? After releasing the MAH MBA CET result 2024 , the Maharashtra CET Cell will conduct the counselling process, known as CAP. More than 300 B-schools in Maharashtra participate in the CAP. All the candidates who qualify for the MAH MBA CET 2024 will be eligible to register for the CAP to secure a seat in their preferred college.

MAH MBA CET 2024 took place on 9, 10, and 11 March.  Now it is expected that mah mba cet result will be announced in the first week of May 2024 . Candidates must visit the MAH CET official website to check their results and complete the registration for CAP.

What is MAH MBA CET CAP?

MAH MBA CET CAP stands for Centralised Admission Process. It is the state-level admission process for seat allotment in MBA colleges across Maharashtra. Candidates who qualify for the MHA MBA CET must register online to participate in the CAP process. CAP for MAH MBA CET is conducted in three rounds. However, candidates are required to register for CAP only once. Here are the key points of MAH MBA CET CAP 2024:
  • All candidates qualifying for the exam are eligible to partake in MAH MBA CET. These include Maharashtra residents, candidates under the All India category, J&K migrant candidates, NRI/PIO/OCI, and wards of Indian workers in Gulf nations.
  • Candidates can choose between 1 and 300 preferred institutes for admission.
  • After confirming the option form, candidates are not allowed to make any changes.
  • Candidates who are allotted seats in their preferred institutes must accept the offer because they won't be allowed to participate in subsequent CAP rounds.
  • During document verification, candidates will be allowed to edit a few sections of the CAP form.
  • The seat acceptance fee in CAP is non-refundable.

MAH MBA CET 2024 CAP Round

The CAP process for MAH MBA CET is conducted in three rounds. Here are the criteria for each round of MAH MBA CET CAP:
  • MAH CET CAP Round 1: Candidates whose names appear in the CAP Round 1 allotment list will be disqualified for participation in subsequent rounds. Additionally, candidates must confirm their admission at the allotted institutes. Seats filled in CAP Round 1 will not be available for further counselling rounds.
  • MAH CET CAP Round II: Names of the candidates who are allotted seats in the first round will be excluded from further rounds. Once all seats are filled in CAP Round 2, no further rounds will be conducted.
  • MAH CET CAP Round III: If there are vacant seats in MBA colleges in Maharashtra, MAH CET CAP Round 3 will be administered. However, only Maharashtra candidates are eligible to participate in the third and final counselling round. After seat allocation, candidates must report to the college campus to confirm their seats.

MAH MBA CET 2024 Counselling Process

The counselling procedure for MAH MBA CET 2024 includes several steps, with candidates progressing through each step sequentially. Here's a breakdown of the MAH MBA CET 2024 counselling process:

Online Registration

The first step of MAH CET CAP requires candidates to complete the registration process via the official website. This includes providing basic details for generating a login ID and password. After the registration process, candidates must sign in to access and fill out the CAP Application Form, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee. Candidates must scan the original documents and upload them in the prescribed format. In the last step, candidates should print a copy of the application form for future reference.

Document Verification

Candidates who successfully complete the MAH CET CAP registration process are required to participate in the online document verification round. If all the documents are accurate, the verification status and acknowledgement will be available in the candidate's login. Any errors will be notified to the candidate, who must rectify them after login.

Provisional Merit List & Grievances

After the application and document verification round, MAH CET releases a category-wise provisional merit list. In this stage, candidates can raise objections regarding their data through login. Further, candidates can rectify their application by providing supporting documents.

Final Merit List

The Maharashtra CET Cell will release the category-wise final merit list, considering all the grievances they receive online. This list determines seat allocation in the subsequent CAP rounds.

Option Form Submission

Candidates are required to fill out an option form, which includes ranking their preferred colleges. They can select 1 to 300 choices and can edit the form until the submission deadline. After marking their preferred colleges, they must submit the form.

Provisional Seat Allotment

Based on the preferences and seat availability, provisional seat allotments are made according to candidates' merit. Candidates who are allotted seats in their preferred college must accept the seat, as they won't be allowed to participate in further rounds. However, candidates who are not allocated seats as per their first preference can either accept the seat and withdraw from further rounds or accept the seat and participate in subsequent counselling.

ARC Reporting

Candidates who are allotted seats must report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) to accept it. Those seeking a better seat in the next round must also report to the ARC after allotment before finalising admission.

Final Reporting to College

To finalise the admission, candidates must report to the allotted institute. This is the last step of the CAP process, including document verification, online updates of admission status, and fee payment.
