FMGE pass percentage reflects the trends of qualifying students in the FMGE medical screening test. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) every year to issue FMGE pass certificates to successful students.

It has been observed that the FMGE pass percentage remained on the lower side over the years. Students are required to score 150 marks out of 300 to be qualified and those who fail to get the FMGE pass percentage must appear again in the exam.

FMGE Pass Percentage 2023 is the minimum score that must be scored by the appearing candidate to get the FMGE Pass Certificate and get a license to practice in India. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) organizes the FMGE exam , in two sessions i.e. in June and December. All medical graduates who completed their primary medical qualification from foreign institutes but wish to practice medicine in India need to take the FMGE examination and achieve the FMGE Pass Percentage. According to the NBE guidelines, the FMGE Pass Percentage is 50% marks i.e. 150 marks out of 300 marks.

FMGE December 2023 Pass Criteria

FMGE December 2023 will held on January 20th in computer-based test mode. According to the authorities, the FMGE December 2023 pass criteria involves candidates scoring 150 marks out of 300 marks in the exam to qualify for the FMGE 2023 Pass Percentage Certificate. Candidates will be able to download their FMGE 2023 Pass Certificate in person after the declaration of the results. Those who fail to collect their FMGE Pass Certificate on the assigned schedule shall be required to seek prior approval for a new schedule by sending a request to the Communication Web Portal (CWP) of NBEMS.
