The NEET PG 2024 examination, originally scheduled for June 23, 2024, had been postponed as a precautionary measure due to recent allegations regarding the NEET exam. According to the latest statement from PIB, the Ministry of Health has decided to delay the exam to conduct a thorough assessment of the examination processes conducted by the National Board of Examination (NTA) for medical students. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) issued the NEET PG 2024 admit card on June 18, 2024, which candidates can download from the official website, nbe.edu.in, using their registration login credentials. The NEET PG 2024 exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions, and candidates will have 3.5 hours to complete it. Previously, candidates in the general category were charged INR 4,250 as exam fee under the old fee structure. The results for NEET PG 2024 are expected to be announced by July 15, 2024. To qualify, candidates must achieve the minimum cut-off score, which varies depending on their category.

Printing a copy of the admit card and affixing a recent passport-size photograph are mandatory. Candidates must keep the admit card safe until the admission process concludes.   • The photograph should measure a minimum of 35 mm x 45 mm with at least 75% coverage of the candidate's face and head.
  • It must include a caption with the candidate's name and the date when the photograph was taken, displayed at the bottom.
  • The photograph should have been taken against a white or very light-colored background.
  • It needs to be printed on high-quality paper with a resolution of at least 600 dpi.
  • The colors should be natural, reflecting the candidate's skin tone accurately.
  • The photograph should be free of any kinks, scratches, or stains.
  • Avoid photographs that show reflections or shadows on the face, with red eyes.
Candidates must adhere strictly to these specifications while affixing their photograph on the admit card.

NEET PG 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

The examination has now be concluded on 11 Aug in shifts starts from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, with entry closing at 8:30 am. Candidates must ensure they arrive at the exam center no later than the reporting time specified on their admit card. All candidates are required to undergo mandatory security procedures. Electronic devices such as calculators, smartwatches, pagers, etc., are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Candidates are advised against bringing bags, books, pens, pencil boxes, writing pads, etc., to the exam center as these items are not allowed inside and the center does not provide storage facilities for them.
