NEET PG Exam Pattern 2025 :  NEET PG 2025 exam, now rescheduled to August 3, 2025, will be conducted in a single shift in online mode by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. The exam will comprise 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), totaling 800 marks, with a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. It follows a specific marking scheme: +4 marks for each correct answer, -1 for each incorrect response, and 0 for unattempted questions. The paper will be conducted in English and cover topics from pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical subjects. NEET PG Mock Test 2025

The NBE (National Board of Examinations) has made the NEET PG 2025 mock test available for candidates on its official website, @nbe.edu.in . Candidates do not require login credentials to access the mock test for NEET PG 2025. The login details are already set by default for candidates. The mock test or demo test aims to help candidates become acquainted with the NEET PG pattern and other aspects of the exam. Candidates can become familiar with the Computer Based Test format by taking the mock test. Additionally, it allows candidates to assess their exam preparation effectively.

NEET PG Exam to be replaced by NExT 2025?

In the recent PGMEB notification, there was a mention of the NExT 2025 exam , which was supposed to replace the current NEET PG exam as announced by NMC back in 2029. The NExT was later postponed by the NMC on the advice of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Medical students need to stay updated on any announcements or notifications from the NMC regarding the NExT 2025 exam. As of now, the NMC has yet to release a public notification regarding this exam. Hence, until notified, the NExT exam will not replace the NEET PG.  The students can continue preparing for the NEET PG 2025 until official information is provided by the NMC.
