Apart from MBBS and BDS, many students now choose AYUSH courses. These include BAMS (Ayurveda), BHMS (Homeopathy), and BUMS (Unani). These courses are also approved by the government, and students become doctors in these fields after completing their degree.
In some states, students with around 470 to 500 marks can get BDS in government colleges. If not, private colleges still offer good dental programs. Students can also apply to Deemed Universities. These are private universities with higher fees but good infrastructure.
Some students also choose to take a drop year. If they are confident and determined to improve their score next year, they can prepare again and try to score 600+ to get a government seat.
To understand the expected rank better, we must look at past year data. The rank for the same marks changes every year. This is because of changes in paper difficulty, number of students, and overall competition.
