Haryana MBBS Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

1. Cutoff Marks : Candidates who qualify NEET-UG 2024 with the prescribed cutoff score are eligible for admission to MBBS or BDS courses in Haryana.
2. Residency Requirement : Candidates must be bona fide residents of Haryana to be considered for admission, even if they have qualified NEET-UG.
3. Age Limits : Candidates must be at least 17 years old and no more than 25 years old.
4. Physical Fitness : Candidates must be medically fit to pursue medical or dental courses.
5. Minimum Marks in Class 12 : Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks from a recognized board, with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
6. NEET Cut off 2024: The Haryana NEET 2024 cutoff will be published on the official website of DMER. In the meantime, candidates can refer to the table below for the qualifying percentile and cutoff marks.

Haryana MBBS Admission Process 2024

1. Appear for NEET UG : Register and sit for the NEET UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. Qualify NEET UG : Achieve the required percentile based on your category (50 percentile for General, 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC, and 45 percentile for General-PwD).
3. Register for Haryana Counselling : Enroll in the Haryana NEET counselling process managed by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER).
4. Choice Filling : Submit your preferred choices for colleges and courses during the counselling process.
5. Seat Allotment : Seats will be allotted based on your NEET score, category, and preferences through multiple rounds of counselling.
6. Document Verification: Report to the assigned college for document verification and complete the admission formalities.

Haryana MBBS Admission 2024- Counselling Process

1. Mode of Counselling: The MBBS counselling is conducted online by DMER Haryana.
2. Rounds of Counselling: There are two rounds of NEET counselling followed by a mop-up round.
3. Filling Preferences: Candidates whose names are on the merit list must fill in their choices or preferences on the official website. Once submitted, these preferences cannot be changed.
4. Seat Allocation: Based on candidates’ preferences, NEET merit, reservation policies, and seat availability, seats will be allocated.
5. Document Verification: Candidates will then need to visit the designated center for document verification as prescribed by DMER.
6. Fee Payment: After seat allocation, candidates must pay the course fee for the first semester or year within the specified deadline. Admission is only confirmed upon payment of fees.
7. Second Round of Counselling: DMER will conduct a second round of counselling based on the vacant seats after the first round. The process remains the same as the first round. Candidates who did not secure a seat in the first round can participate in the second round by submitting their preferences.
