Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2025 Date Announced for All Rounds

Jharkhand NEET Counseling 2025 officially began from July 16, 2025.  It is for students who want to take admission in MBBS, BDS, and BHMS courses in Jharkhand medical colleges. The counselling is based on NEET 2025 scores and conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).  Students who were qualified in NEET will be eligible for this process. 

This counselling takes place for 85% of the state quota seats under government and private medical colleges of Jharkhand. It will happen in three rounds, plus a stray vacancy round. Candidates must register online and fill out their choices before moving to document verification and the admission process.

Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2025 Overview

The NEET counselling 2025 in Jharkhand is available only for candidates who have successfully cleared the NEET UG 2025 exam. The NEET UG 2025 exam was scheduled on May 4, 2025, and the NEET UG 2025 result was out on June 14, 2025. The last date to apply for NEET Counselling is July 26, 2025. All procedures like registration, filling of choice, checking results, and uploading of documents are done online.

This counselling allows a candidate to apply for MBBS, BDS, and BHMS seats on the 85% state quota basis, while the remaining 15% seats will be filled through the All India Quota Counselling conducted by MCC.

Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2025 Dates

The counselling will be held in four rounds — First Round, Second Round, Third Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. Each round has fixed dates for registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and document verification.

Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed the class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects from a recognized board
• The candidate should be an Indian citizen. He must be born or must have spent 10 years in Jharkhand to get age relaxation benefits during the state-based counselling
• The minimum age limit for appearing in Jharkhand NEET counselling is 17 years.

The candidates have to cross-verify their documents by the JCECEB during the Jharkhand NEET 2025 counselling. The authorities will cross-verify the documents to determine if the candidate is eligible for admission or not. Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2025 Reservation

As per rules, a reservation criterion is followed for the Jharkhand NEET Counselling. Like 50% of the total seats are reserved for the unreserved category. This means out of 600, 300 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the general category. Similar provisions have been prescribed for other categories like OBC, SC, ST and PWD categories as well.
