PW EAJEE Inorganic Chemistry Handwritten Notes provides concise inorganic chemistry notes, reactions, shortcuts, and quick revision material for effective NEET preparation.
There are many reasons why the NEET AIIMS Cut Off changes every year. Let’s understand the main reasons:
Difficulty of the Exam: If the NEET exam is very difficult, fewer students will score high. So the cut off may go down. But if the exam is easy, many students score high. Then the cut off goes up.
Number of Students Appearing: If more students give the exam, the competition increases. So the cut off may become high. In 2025, over 20 lakh students are expected to take NEET. So the competition is strong.
Total Seats in AIIMS: If AIIMS has more seats, more students can get admission. This may lower the cut off. But if seats are limited, only top rankers will get in, and the cut off will be high.
Performance of Students: If most students score very well, the cut off will be high. If average marks are low, cut off may also go down.
NEET Exam Pattern: Sometimes the exam pattern or marking system changes. This can also change the cut off marks.
Reservation Policy: There are reserved seats for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories. So their cut offs are different. Also, PwD candidates have a separate cut off.
