It is to inform the interested students regarding the eligibility, exam pattern, important dates, and updates regarding the NEET 2026 exam. Candidates can fill out the NEET 2026 registration form from February 8 to March 8, 2026, using the NTA official portal.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has set the minimum requirements for candidates to apply for the NEET exam. Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects in class 12th and scored 50% marks. The age limit is 17 years.

The candidate must follow the NEET UG 2026 Important Dates carefully.
Registration starts: 08 February 2026.
Last day to apply: 08 March 2026 by 9:00 PM.
Fee payment deadline: 08 March 2026 by 11:50 PM.
Correction window: 10 March to 12 March 2026.
Exam Day: 03 May 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The student should know that the NTA now asks for a live photograph during the application process. Using an Aadhaar card is better for verifying who you are. Candidates can also now take the test if they studied Biology as an extra subject in Class 12.
Step 1: Go to the official website at https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
Step 2: The candidate must register and get a login ID.
Step 3: Fill in the personal details like name and address.
Step 4: Choose the exam city and the language for the paper.
Step 5: Capture a live photo and upload other documents.
Step 6: Pay the exam fee online using a card or UPI.
Step 7: Download the confirmation page for your records.
Age: The candidate must be 17 years old on or before 31st December 2026.
Education: The student must have passed Class 12 or be appearing for it.
Subjects: You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Biotechnology), and English.
Nationality: Indian citizens, NRIs, and OCI candidates can all apply.
Total Marks: 720 marks.
Total Questions: 180 questions.
Subjects: Physics (45), Chemistry (45), and Biology (90).
Marking: You get +4 for every right answer and lose -1 for every wrong answer.
Time: The student gets 3 hours (180 minutes) to finish
NEET UG 2026 Syllabus is based on what students learn in Class 11 and Class 12. It is decided by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
