NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates planning to appear for the NEET UG 2026 exam must satisfy the eligibility conditions set by the National Testing Agency (NTA). These criteria cover age limit, educational qualification, nationality, and minimum qualifying marks. Applications of candidates who do not meet the eligibility requirements will be rejected, and the application fee will not be refunded.

Age Limit

• The minimum age required for NEET 2026 is 17 years.

• Candidates must have completed or will complete 17 years of age on or before 31 December 2026.

• Candidates born on or before 31 December 2008 are eligible.

• There is no upper age limit for NEET UG 2026.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination.

• Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English must be compulsory subjects.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

• General category: 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
