NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To appear for NEET UG 2026, candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by NTA.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 17 years
- Candidates must complete 17 years of age on or before 31 December 2026
- No upper age limit
Educational Qualification
- Passed or appearing in Class 12 (10+2)
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English are mandatory subjects
Minimum Marks Requirement
- General: 50%
- OBC/SC/ST: 40%
- PwD: 40%

NEET 2026 Answer Key and Result
After the completion of the examination, NTA will release the provisional answer key. Candidates will have an opportunity to challenge the answer key within the prescribed period.
The final answer key and NEET UG 2026 result will be released after reviewing all objections. The result will contain:
- Subject-wise scores
- Total marks
- Percentile
- All India Rank (AIR)
- Qualifying status
NEET 2026 Counselling Process
The counselling process will begin after the declaration of results.
Admissions will be conducted through:
- Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota seats
- State Counselling Authorities for State Quota seats
