NTA Declared NEET 2025 Result for 75 Students: The National Testing Agency (NTA) officially declared the NEET UG 2025 results for 75 candidates on 14 July 2025 at 6 PM. The results were released on the official NEET website, and every student was provided with their scorecards through email communication.
These students were not included when the NEET 2025 result was declared earlier on 14 June 2025 because of a pending court case. These aspirants had gone to the Madhya Pradesh High Court, claiming disruption of their exam due to a power cut at their allocated centers.
NEET 2025 results for 75 students whose performance was impacted by the reported technical glitch were officially announced as per the MP High Court's order. The NTA published the NEET 2025 results on its portal and also sent them by email to the respective candidates at the same time. This announcement allows the concerned students to be a part of the NEET 2025 counselling procedure, which had previously started for the other candidates. They have been included after facing intense legal and procedural examination.
The students in question had moved a petition in advance of the Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court for re-examination on the premise of unjust conditions due to a power breakdown at the time of the NEET 2025 examination conducted on 4 May 2025.
To start with, the one-judge bench went in favour of the students by observing that they had indeed undergone harmful conditions and were, as such, eligible for a new chance. The NTA challenged the decision, and the case went to a division bench. On careful scrutiny of reports submitted and evidence of procedure, the division bench reversed the earlier ruling, deciding that the re-test was not necessary.

Before publishing the result, the NTA set up a special expert committee to investigate the allegations made by the 75 students. The committee was assigned the task of determining if the reported power failure had tremendously undermined the integrity of the examination.
After going through exam centre logs, invigilation records, and technical reports, the committee recognised that an interruption had taken place. But it found that the extent of the disruption was not sufficient to warrant a re-examination. The NTA presented this report to the court and contended that releasing the original results of the students was a reasonable step.

Despite the announcement of the results, a majority of the 75 students are not satisfied with the result. They argue that their performance was adversely affected by the power outage, claiming that their reported scores do not reflect their capacity or readiness. As per their lawyer, Mr. Mradul Bhatnagar, the students will be approaching the Supreme Court of India with a petition. They claim a re-test is the sole way to give a fair evaluation, and they will continue seeking further legal remedies to offer academic justice in the case of the NEET 2025 test.

The NTA has also stated that the counselling for these 75 students will start from 21 July 2025. The counselling will be carried out in parallel with the ongoing rounds being conducted for the remaining candidates of NEET 2025.
The said students are now eligible to be admitted through both the All India Quota (AIQ) and the State Quota system of their respective states. But if the Supreme Court grants the petition and issues an interim order, the counseling schedule of these students may also be liable to be changed.
