According to the latest NTA guidelines, simply carrying a printed copy of the hall ticket will not grant you entry. Candidates are mandatorily required to carry at least one (preferably two) additional passport-size photograph to the exam center.
Crucial Details Regarding the Photograph:
Identity Match: The photo must be identical to the one uploaded during the JEE Main 2026 registration process.
Attendance Sheet: This photograph must be pasted on the official attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator.
Specifications: It should be a color print with a white background, ensuring at least 80% face coverage.
Expert Tip: Students often lose small photos during travel. It is highly recommended to keep your spare photographs inside a transparent folder along with your original ID proof to avoid last-minute panic at the gate.
