The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has released the recruitment notification for Jharkhand Trained Assistant Acharya, also referred to as Para Teacher, under the JTAACCE 2026 recruitment. A total of 7,299 vacancies are included in the recruitment.

JSSC Eligibility 2026

Eligibility requirements differ according to the teaching post. Candidates should ensure that they meet the prescribed educational qualifications and TET requirements before applying.

For Intermediate Trained Assistant Teacher, Class 1–5

Candidates can qualify through any one of the prescribed routes, including:

• 10+2 with 50% marks along with a 2-year D.El.Ed.

• 10+2 with 45% marks along with a 2-year D.El.Ed. as per NCTE Regulations, 2002.

• 10+2 with 50% marks along with a 4-year B.El.Ed.

• 10+2 with 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.

• Graduation along with a 2-year D.El.Ed.

Candidates must also have passed JTET for Classes 1–5.

Jharkhand residents who have qualified CTET or a TET examination from a neighbouring state can also apply, subject to passing JTET within the prescribed period.

For Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher, Class 6–8

For the Class 6–8 posts, the prescribed qualifications include any one of the following:

• Graduation with a 2-year D.El.Ed.

• Graduation/PG with 50% marks along with B.Ed.

• Graduation with 45% marks along with B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.

• 10+2 with 50% marks along with a 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

• Graduation with 50% marks along with B.Ed. in Special Education.

• Postgraduation with 55% marks along with a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

Candidates applying for Classes 6–8 must also have passed JTET for Classes 6–8.

Jharkhand residents who have qualified CTET or a neighbouring state's TET can apply, provided they pass JTET within the prescribed period.

JSSC Para Teacher JTAACCE Age Limit 2026

The age limit is calculated as of August 1, 2026.

• Minimum age: 21 years

• Maximum age: 35 to 40 years, depending on the category
