
According to the latest update, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 city intimation slip soon. Once available, candidates will be able to download it from the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.
The city intimation slip informs students about the city where their JEE Main examination centre will be located. This allows candidates to make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements well before the examination date.
The JEE Main Session 2 examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from April 2 to April 9, 2026, across various centres in India and a few cities outside the country.
Candidates can follow these steps to download the city slip once it is released:
Visit the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in
On the homepage, click on the Session 2 City Intimation Slip link under the Candidate Activity section
Enter your Application Number and Password
The city intimation slip will appear on the screen
Download and save the slip for future reference
The registration window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 closed on March 13, 2026. Candidates who successfully registered will be able to access their city slip and later download their admit cards through the official portal.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from January 21 to January 29, 2026.
The exam was held in two shifts each day:
Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
For the BE/BTech papers, the examination was conducted from January 21 to January 28.
