The application process requires candidates to select the relevant recruitment, enter personal and educational details, provide post and RRB preferences as applicable, upload the required documents and complete fee payment.
Candidates should verify their qualification, age and professional registration requirements before submitting the form because eligibility conditions differ according to the post.
Candidates can follow these steps to complete the application:
Visit the official RRB application portal.
Open the link for CEN 05/2026, Paramedical Categories.
Complete the required registration process.
Log in using the credentials generated during registration.
Enter personal, educational and category details.
Select the applicable post and RRB preferences.
Upload the photograph, signature and other required documents.
Pay the applicable examination fee.
Check all details carefully before submitting the form.
Submit the application and save the confirmation page for future reference.
Candidates should use only the official RRB application portal and regional RRB websites for recruitment updates.
The eligibility requirements are post-specific. Candidates must possess the educational qualification prescribed for the particular paramedical position they are applying for.
For example, Nursing Superintendent applicants require the prescribed nursing qualification and registration, while Pharmacist, Radiographer, Laboratory Assistant and other posts have separate qualification requirements.
The age limit also varies by post. The broad age range across the notified posts is 18 to 40 years, with the applicable age calculated according to the conditions specified in CEN 05/2026.
Candidates should therefore check the detailed notification for the exact qualification, age limit, professional registration and medical standards applicable to their selected post.
The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by the prescribed subsequent stages.
Candidates shortlisted after the CBT will be called for Document Verification and Medical Examination, subject to the applicable recruitment rules and post requirements.
The final appointment process will depend on the candidate meeting the prescribed eligibility, document and medical requirements.
The examination fee varies according to the candidate category.
For candidates in the general categories, the application fee is ₹500, of which ₹400 is refundable after the candidate appears in the first-stage CBT, after applicable bank charges.
For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender and EBC categories, the fee is ₹250, which is refundable after appearing in the CBT, subject to applicable bank charges and recruitment conditions.
