What Is the WB NEET PG 2026 Counselling Process?

WBMCC conducts West Bengal state-level postgraduate medical counselling for eligible candidates who qualify for NEET PG and meet the prescribed admission requirements.

The process includes online registration, candidate verification, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and reporting for admission. Allotment is conducted according to the applicable eligibility conditions, merit and category rules, seat availability, and candidates’ submitted preferences.

The counselling covers eligible postgraduate medical seats in government and private medical institutions under the applicable state-level quota arrangements. The courses listed by WBMCC include MD, MS, postgraduate diploma and specified DNB programmes.

Candidates should distinguish between WBMCC state-level counselling and the Medical Counselling Committee’s All India Quota counselling. Applicants must follow the relevant authority’s schedule and eligibility rules for the seats they intend to pursue.
