DSSSB Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria 2024 Age Limit
Only Indian citizens can apply for the position of DSSSB Nursing Officer. The age limit criteria are specified in the official notification of DSSSB Nursing Officer recruitment. According to the age limit eligibility, candidates age should not exceed 30 years as of March 13, 2024. Age relaxation will be given to certain categories as per government guidelines. For instance, contractual employees of Health & Family Welfare will be given age relaxation in upper age as a one-time measure provided they have worked for at least 180 days in that particular year. Candidates should fulfill the educational requirements mandated by DSSSB for the post of Nursing officer. DSSSB Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria 2024 regarding educational qualification is given below:- Candidates must have completed a B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute.
- The candidate has pursued a regular B.SC. Nursing course from a recognized University or Institute.
- Candidates having Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized Institute can also apply. Candidates should have registered as a Nurse or Nurse –Midwife from any Nursing Council and get registered from Delhi Nursing Council at the time of appointment.
- Interested candidates who have completed a 3-year Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized Board of Council can apply if they have 1 year of experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital after acquiring the given qualification.
- Candidates should have registered as a Nurse or Nurse –Midwife from any Nursing Council and get registered as RN or RN & RM from Delhi Nursing Council at the time of appointment as per DSSSB Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria 2024.
DSSSB Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria 2024 Experience
According to the official DSSSB Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria 2024, the experience is required only in the case of a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery. Candidates who have done a GNM diploma course need to have a minimum of one year experience in a 50 bedded hospital after their qualification is completed. This DSSSB Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria does not apply to candidates who have completed four years of B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree course. Also, mandatory internship experience may not be considered for GNM candidates.
