INMO Syllabus 2025-26: Every year the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad is a well-known yearly mathematics competition for high school students held in India This INMO Test is the third stage of the HBCSE's International Mathematics Olympiad and evaluates the ability of young students to think and solve problems.

The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education conducts the INMO test (HBCSE) which attracts thousands of students from across the nation, but only 30 candidates are chosen. INMO Exam Dates has been disclosed by the authorities and the start of registration process will be announced soon.

Following the INMO Syllabus 2025-26 and Class-wise Exam Pattern, this test helps students strengthen their concepts After the INMO exam, the selected candidates will be trained in the IMOTC (International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp) and the six best candidates will be selected to represent our country at the international level after the end of the training course.

How to Prepare for INMO?

INMO Exam Syllabus 

It is important to note that a candidate who has passed the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) Examination is eligible for INMO. To crack the INMO exam, a student must study important chapters as per the syllabus. After completing the INMO Exam, the candidate can apply for IMOTC (International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp).
Therefore, candidates must be prepared and understand the concepts carefully. But the difference between the traditional maths test and the INMO test is that although the syllabus is the same, the questions are more difficult and all the questions must be solved correctly. Answers without explanation will not be accepted. The questions are arranged based on the chapters of the mathematics courses of Classes 11 and 12. INMO Exam Pattern 2025-26

All students who are going to appear for the INMO 2026 must understand the INMO Exam Pattern 2025-26. Knowing the test pattern will help Class 11 and 12 students strategize for the final exam. The INMO examination consists of six problems that must be solved in four hours. Geometry, algebra, number theory, and combinatorics are all involved in these problems.
