The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India is expected to announce the NMTC Result 2026 for the Stage 1 Preliminary Test in September 2026. The results will be published on the official website https://amtionline.com. Students who qualify in the preliminary stage will be eligible to appear for the second stage of the NMTC Examination, scheduled in October 2026.
To check the NMTC 2026 result, candidates must log in using their date of birth and password. The date of birth should be entered in DDMMYYYY format for successful access.
There are two stages in NMTC Examination -
NMTC Preliminary Test: All candidates, except seniors, start here. It takes place in participating schools, lasts 2 hours, and contains detailed questions (multiple choice and fill-in). This test assesses problem solving skills using easy (20%) and challenging (80%) questions. 10% of top performers pass the final exam.
NMTC Final Test: For first-time passers, this 3-hour psychological test covers the most advanced topics. This is done in relevant premises, focusing on a deeper understanding of mathematics.
