International STEM Olympiad: A private company founded in 2012 called MAIN TEAM ORGANISATION GmbH hosts the International STEM Olympiad every year.
This organization focuses on planning instructional workshops and activities for students throughout Europe and the United States.
The International STEM Olympiad is an online global competition for students in grades 1 through 12. With questions created as per the principles of STEM education. The purpose of the International STEM Olympiad is to promote curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

The 5th STEM Olympiad finale is scheduled to be held in Barcelona between 9th to 15th July 2025. STEM Olympiad is an International competition conducted through online mode for students from grades 1 to 12.
The STEM curriculum includes educating students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in an interdisciplinary and practical manner.
STEM integrates these four disciplines into a comprehensive learning experience based on real-world applications, rather than teaching them as distinct and separate subjects.
You can register and take the exam up to 8 times in all categories and on 4 different exam dates each require separate payment. The ultimate goal is to instill in students a mindset where they understand the relationship between their education and the outside world.

Students from grades 1 to 12 are eligible for the International STEM Olympiad.
There is no age restriction for the International STEM Olympiad.
No pre-qualifications or entrance exams are required to appear for the Olympiad.
Students who have previously participated in STEM Online exams may get priority for the STEM Grand Final.

The registration process for the International STEM Olympiad is closed now but below are the simple steps that need to be followed for Individual Students Registration.
Visit the official website https://stemolympiad.org homepage and search for the REGISTER button to start the registration process of a new student.
In the Students’s Registration Option enter Student’s Personal Information School Information.
Enter the student’s account information and set up a minimum 5-digit secure password. Check the box next to the “I Understand” statement below.
Click the Add Exam button in the upper right corner to choose your exam category, date and language.
The summary of your student registration appears on the screen. You can get the Student ID and Reference Code in the summary report after your registration is complete. Your password won’t be visible to you anymore. Download this summary before proceeding with your panel.
Students can also log in to the student account using your Student ID and Reference Code as well as the email address and password that you submitted while registration.
Complete the registration by submitting the application fee in the Payment option.
Finalists are asked to upload the documents for the International STEM Olympiad Final Round.

The International STEM Olympiad Registration Fee varies based on the type of registration and category. Each category and exam requires a separate payment for the Qualification Round:
Coding category: €35 per exam
Other categories (Science, Math, Technology & Engineering, AI Challenge): €20 per exam
There are 3 stages in the International STEM Olympiad; these are the Qualifying Round, Final Round and Best of the Bests Global Round Exams of the STEM Olympiad.
Mode of Examination will be Online through STEM Student Panel as no additional exam link will be sent to them.
Zoom connection is required during the exam. The camera must be turned on and the student ID must be used as the display name.
Language for the Qualification and Final Round Exams is English, Spanish, French, Russian, Azerbaijani, Turkish.
Language for the Best of the Best Global Round Exams is English.

Evaluation of the Final Exams (for grades 1-3)
The top 3 participants in each grade and category will be awarded a hard copy Gold Medal and a Certificate of Achievement.
Top 25%: Digital Gold Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
25-60%: Digital Silver Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
60-80%: Digital Bronze Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
80-100%: Digital Honorable Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
Evaluation of the Final Exams (for grades 4-12)
The top 3 participants in each grade for MATH, SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY & ENGINEERING, and CODING Categories, as well as the top 3 participants in each group for AI Challenge and Art-Ad Film Categories, will receive a hard copy Gold Medal and a Certificate of Achievement.
Top 15%: Digital Gold Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
15-35%: Digital Silver Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
35-60%: Digital Bronze Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
60-80%: Digital Honorable Medal Certificate & Certificate of Achievement
80-100%: Certificate of Participation in the Final Round Exams
Evaluation of the Best of the Bests Round (for grades 6-11)
The top-ranking students will receive the following hard copy medals and certificates (for the Math and Science categories only):
1st Places - Original Gold Medal + Hard Copy Certificate
2nd Places - Original GOLD M. + Hard Copy Certificate
3rd Places - Original GOLD M. + Hard Copy Certificate
The rest of participants will receive a BOB Digital PARTICIPATION Certificate.
Students will compete with their classmates and students from other nations.
Participating in an International Olympiad allows students to demonstrate their self determination and gain self-confidence.
They also learn and practice explaining some subjects in different ways by using interactive simulations, in addition to conventional teaching techniques.
In addition to conventional question models, students learn about different educational curricula and unearth new knowledge.
As part of their success portfolio, which they will use to apply to universities for admission and scholarships in the future, students will include medals, a Certificate of Achievement, and a Certificate of Participation.
Under the name STEM, students will learn about the relationship between Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, which will help them see their courses in a new light.
If they haven't had access to a coding platform before, participants in the coding category will get this opportunity at no cost through the STEM Olympiad.
The awards given to pupils will encourage and drive them to seek jobs in coding and engineering.
