

NSEC 2025-26: The National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC) is the first stage of the Chemistry Olympiad in India, conducted for higher secondary students. It is organized annually by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), typically in the month of November, to foster interest in Chemistry and identify talented students for further stages of the Olympiad.
NSEC Admit Card was released on the official website. NSEC Exam will be held on 23rd November 2025 (Sunday) from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Note: The NSEC Pre-Departure Camp is tentatively planned for the 2nd week of November 2025. The exact dates are yet to be confirmed. This camp is an important training session.

No, a student who has not completed the several phases of testing that lead to ICO selection would not be permitted to represent India abroad. If a student wishes to participate in ICO, he or she must first pass the NSEC exam. Students who pass the tests will be allowed to join the training camp.
