RMO Registration 2025 Registration Link And Exam Date

RMO Registration 2025 refers to the method of registering qualified students to participate in the 2025 Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO). This is the second round in the Indian Mathematics Olympiad program administered by the Homi Bhabha Centre of Science Education (HBCSE). Registration becomes open upon announcement of the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) 2025 results. 

Students who are eligible to attend RMO can do it through an online application, provided they score the required minimum marks in IOQM. It is a 3-hour offline descriptive test, has 6 proof-based questions, and is scheduled on November 9, 2025, and is taken in regional centres, which are based on the region of the candidate.

RMO Registration 2025 Overview

 RMO Registration 2025 has begun formally to all students qualified with IOQM. In order to participate, students are required to do the registration before the deadline. The RMO is a link between IOQM and INMO (Indian National Mathematical Olympiad), therefore, the registration is important.

Regional Mathematical Olympiad Registration 2025

 RMO Registration 2025 (Regional Mathematical Olympiad) is conducted in regions of India, normally under the control of regional coordinators selected by HBCSE. Different regions have their own variant of RMO that has a similar pattern of question papers.

RMO is intended to check the ability to solve problems, logical thinking, and mathematical imagination. Students who successfully qualified in IOQM are only eligible to apply.

Important note:

The students of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) or Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) need not use this portal to register. They must make calls with their respective school principals in order to seek registration and other formalities.

RMO Registration Last Date 2025

 RMO Registration 2025 last date is 6th November 2025, 5:00 PM. The students are advised to finish the process early enough to prevent last-minute technical failures and connection problems. Any late registrations will not be given a chance.

RMO 2025 Exam Date

Upon the end of the registration period, the RMO 2025 exam will be done regionally. The date might not be exactly the same across different regions, but it is expected to be in November 2025.
