The SilverZone STEM Olympiad uses a marking system based on the marks assigned to each question.
The raw score is calculated using the marks obtained for correct answers. An additional decimal weightage is also given to correct answers.
For example, the questions may receive additional weightage such as:
Question 1: 0.0001
Question 2: 0.0002
Question 3: 0.0003

This additional weightage is used to break ties when students have the same raw score.
The total score is calculated using the raw score and the applicable additional weightage.
The SilverZone STEM Olympiad provides different types of rankings based on student performance.
The Class Rank includes students from all sections or divisions of the same class within the same school.
The Olympiad Rank compares students from India and abroad who belong to the same class.
Students may also receive Zonal and State ranks based on their performance.
The additional decimal weightage given to each correct answer can be used to determine the rank when students have the same marks.
