1. Keralite:

Children of All India Service (AIS) officers posted in Kerala are also considered Keralites, although they are not eligible for reservation benefits.
2. Non-Keralite Category I (NK I): Candidates who are not of Kerala origin but fulfill one of the following conditions:
Have completed their qualifying exam in Kerala and are children of Non-Keralite parents working for the Government of India or Defence Services posted in Kerala.
Have completed their qualifying exam in Kerala and are children of parents who have served the Kerala Government for at least two years.
Have been residents of Kerala for at least 5 years within a 12-year period.
Have studied in Kerala from Std. VIII to XII.
3. Non-Keralite Category II (NK II):
Candidates who do not meet the criteria for Keralite or Non-Keralite Category I.
These candidates are only eligible for private self-financing colleges and are not eligible for government college seats, reservations, or fee concessions.
Candidates in Non-Keralite Category II (NK II) will only be considered for the available seats if there are no eligible candidates from Keralite or Non-Keralite Category I.
