RRB Junior Translator Exam Pattern

Each question carries 1 mark where there is 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Questions are objective type and bilingual (except the language sections). The CBT will evaluate candidates' proficiency in both English and Hindi, with 50% of the questions dedicated to language skills—20% focusing on English and 30% on Hindi. RRB Junior Translator Selection Process Translation Skill Test

The Translation Test will not be included in the main examination. Instead, it will serve as a separate stage conducted after the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates will be shortlisted for the Translation Test based on their performance in the CBT, with the number of candidates selected being ten times the total number of vacancies. This shortlisting process will also account for the applicable reservation requirements to ensure fairness. It is important to note that the Translation Test is purely qualifying in nature, meaning that its scores will not contribute to the final merit list. However, candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks in this test to qualify. Only those who meet or exceed this benchmark will proceed further in the recruitment process.

RRB Junior Translator Post Skill Test Marking Scheme

Candidates who qualify for the CBT are shortlisted for the Translation Skill Test which is qualifying in nature. This stage evaluates the practical translation abilities of the candidates. The translation test is evaluated on grammatical accuracy, context retention, and language proficiency.
