Coralla are of following types

1. Cruciform It contain four petals. They are arranged in cross (X) like fashion e.g. Mustard.
2. Caryophyllaceous It contains 5 petals. Each petal has comparatively long claw and the limbs of petals are placed at right angle to the claw. e.g. Dianthus.
3. Rosaceous It contains 5 petals. Petals are with short claws or none and limb spreads outward e.g. Rose
4. Campanulate or bell shaped Here shape of corolla is like a bell. e.g. Physalis.
5. Tubular Here corolla becomes tube like. e.g. Central florets of sunflower. vi) Influndibuliform Corolla becomes funnel shaped. e.g. Datura (Thorn Apple).
6. Rotate or wheel shaped Here tube of the corolla is narrower and shorter while limbs are at right angle to the tube. e.g. Bringal.
7. Papilionaceous It is composed of 5 petals out of which one posterior is largest and is known as standard or vexillum. Remaining two are lateral ones, partially covered by vexillum are known as wings or alae. Two innermost petals are united to form a boat shaped structure Keel or Carina. e.g. Pea, Gram. ix) Bilabiate Here corolla is distinctly divided into two lips with widely opened mouth. e.g.Ocimum.
8. Ligulate are strap shaped In flower upper part of corolla is modified into strap like structure with lower part forming a short tube. e.g. Outer floret of sunflower.
9. Personate are masked This is also bilabiate type but the lips are so near to each other as to close the mouth of the corolla. e.g. Antirrhinum.
