A few days later, Maxwell received a sack from two Arabs, sent by his friend, and inside was a small otter. He named it Mijbil, or Mij for short.

At first, Mij took some time to get used to his new home. But soon, Maxwell noticed Mij loved water and even learned to turn on the bathroom tap. Mij was playful and smart, and the two became close.

When it was time to return to England, Maxwell faced challenges as his chosen airline didn’t allow animals in the cabin. So, he booked another flight where Mij could travel with him, but only in a box. Just an hour before the flight, Maxwell placed Mij in a box and left briefly. When he returned, he found Mij injured and the box damaged. After cleaning it, he rushed to the airport.

On the plane, the kind air hostess let Maxwell keep Mij on his lap instead of in the box. But the moment he opened it, Mij escaped and caused a bit of excitement on board. Thankfully, the hostess quickly caught him and returned him to Maxwell.
