Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Class 10 board exam results for 2025. However, as per the board’s policy since 2020, CBSE will not release an official list of Class 10 toppers. This decision aims to reduce academic stress and avoid unhealthy competition among students.
The CBSE Class 10 exams for 2025 were conducted from 15th February to 18th March. Vijayawada and Trivandrum jointly secured the highest position in the CBSE Class 10 results 2025, each recording an impressive overall pass percentage of 99.79%.
No Official CBSE 10th Result Toppers 2025 List by CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has continued its policy of not releasing an official toppers list for the Class 10 board exams in 2025.
This step is intended to reduce undue academic pressure and avoid unhealthy competition among students.Although CBSE will not declare a toppers list, the board will issue merit certificates to the top 0.1% of students in each subject.
This approach reflects CBSE's commitment to encouraging holistic education and student well-being. Class 10 students can check their results on platforms such as cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, DigiLocker, and UMANG.

CBSE Class 10th Toppers List 2025 Overview
A total of 3,27,041 students appeared for the CBSE Board Exams 2025 out of the 3,28,701 who had registered, with the exams conducted in offline mode.
In the Delhi Region, the CBSE Class 10 result recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.24%, accounting for 3,11,138 successful candidates. The results, along with details of the top-performing student, were officially released on May 13, 2025.
Once again, girls have delivered outstanding performances, claiming many of the top positions. The list of toppers reflects a wide representation from various schools and regions, showcasing the widespread academic excellence across the country.
