It has issued a notice regarding the CBSE's Guidelines for Practical Examination For Class 12 Private Candidates. CBSE Class 12 practical exams will begin from February 23, 2026, to March 17, 2026. Candidates who are willing to participate in the 12th-class practicals should follow the guidelines of the authority.

Scheduling: The exact date and time are determined based on when the External Examiners are available.
Notification: Candidates will be informed of their specific date and time slot well in advance.
Attendance: Once you receive your schedule, you must report to the designated Examination Centre on time.
Candidates are required to take this exam if they fall into any of the following categories:
2024 & 2025 Batches: Students whose practical marks are currently missing or unavailable.
2023 & Earlier Batches: Private candidates who have applied for all subjects.
Previous Absentees: Any student who was absent during their original practical or theory exams for valid reasons.
Mark Uploading: The exam centre is responsible for uploading the marks of all Private Students directly to the portal.
Verification: Schools can verify the list of allotted private students through their official centre/school login account
CBSE has issued a notice informing the guidelines for the class 12 practical examination.
Candidates need to appear at the same test centres allocated for the practical and theory examination.
External Examiners are appointed directly by the Regional Directors or Officers.
If the exam center school lacks enough teachers or invigilators, staff from nearby schools will be assigned to assist.
The Centre Superintendent is responsible for identifying and preparing a complete list of all students eligible for the practical exams.

A copy of their 2026 Admit Card.
