Documents Required for CBSE Private Candidate Form 2025

Photograph :

• Must be in full color and high quality to avoid any visible pixels.
• Taken within the last 6 months .
• Head should be positioned directly facing the camera, centered, and compose 80% of the image.
• Capture the photo from slightly above the top of the hair to the middle of the chest.
• Use a solid color background for best results.
• The full face of the student should be clearly visible.
• Photo size should not exceed 40 KB .

Signature :

• A clear image of the candidate's signature.
• Signature size should also not exceed 40 KB .

Marksheet/Original Report Card :

• The candidate must provide their latest marksheet or original report card.

Original School Leaving Certificate :

• A valid school leaving certificate from the previous school.

Instructions to Fill out the CBSE Private Candidate Form 2025

Category 1: Fail/Compartment/Repeat/Improvement

• Enter Required Details : Provide your roll number and centre number accurately.
• Auto-Generated Details : For students who appeared for their board exams in 2024 the system will automatically generate your details.
• Manual Entry : If you took the exams in 2023 or earlier , you need to fill in all required details manually.
• Accurate Information : Ensure that all details, including roll number and centre number, are entered correctly.
• Assessment Scores : The project/practical/internal assessment scores from the 2024 exams will carry over.
• Pro Rata Marks : For exams taken before 2024 , pro rata marks will be awarded in the respective sections.

Category 2: New Female Candidates/Physically Handicapped

• Subject Selection : Choose your subjects from the drop-down menu provided in the form.
• Valid Choices : Only select subjects listed in the drop-down.
• Score Calculation : The total score for subjects with an internal assessment will be calculated out of 100 , combining both internal and theory component marks.

Category 3: Additional Subjects

• Select One Subject : Choose one subject that you did not opt for in previous attempts.
• Follow Instructions : Adhere to the instructions for selecting additional subjects.
• Theory Marks : For subjects with an internal assessment, the total marks will be calculated out of 100 and combined with the theory exam marks.
