SSC CPO Physical Test 2025: The SSC CPO Physical Test (PET/PST) 2025 is a key step that comes right after the written exam. It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). This stage checks a candidate’s fitness, strength, and endurance for the role of Sub-Inspector in the Delhi Police and CAPFs.
The SSC CPO test includes height and chest measurements, along with running, jumping, and other physical activities. Each task measures how strong, quick, and balanced a candidate is for the job. Those who clear it will move on to the next stage of recruitment.

Some candidates find running the hardest part, while others find the jumps more challenging. A balanced preparation plan that includes cardio and strength training is helpful.
Candidates who clear the SSC CPO PET/PST and both papers move to the final medical test. Vision, overall health, and physical condition are assessed to ensure fitness for field duties. Any major health issue or chronic illness may lead to disqualification.
Start early. The competition is tough, and the body needs time to develop endurance. This is practical training, not theoretical. Practice is essential.
Track your time. Use a stopwatch while practicing to monitor your progress and improve performance.
Be consistent. Regular training helps build strength and stamina over time.
Do mock drills. Simulate the real test conditions, including terrain and timing, to get used to the exam environment.
