RBSE Class 10 Hindi Syllabus 2025-26 includes the marking scheme, allowing students to analyze the important topics based on their marking scheme. While allotting time to the subject for studying, students must focus on having a strong grasp on the high weightage topics.
The exam pattern is also released by the RBSE Board. The Hindi subject marks are divided into the following:
Written Exam: 80 marks
Internal Assessment: 20 marks
High weightage topics like Composition which includes letter writing, essay writing must be given importance as it carries 14 marks. The syllabus focuses not only on the writing skills but also tests’ how much the student can comprehend the language.
On the other hand, the textbook also carries a huge weightage of marks i.e., 33 marks. Students must understand the texts and work on character analysis and the literary features to gain a high score in this section.

The remaining 20 marks are given to Practical Assessment. It is divided into 5 marks for attendance, 3 marks for project, oral test and notebook for 1 mark each and internal assessment.
RBSE Class 10 Hindi Syllabus for the academic year 2025–26 has not undergone any major changes. The overall exam structure, question paper format, total marks, and duration remain exactly the same as in the previous session.
The only minor update is in the marks distribution between the two prescribed textbooks – Kshitij Part 2 and Kritika Part 2. Last year, Kshitij Part 2 was allotted 34 marks and this year one mark has been deducted. This year, Kshitij Part 2 carries 33 marks.
Last year, Kritika Part 2 was allotted 10 marks and this year one mark has been added to it. This year Kritika Part 2 carries 11 marks. Other than this small adjustment, the syllabus content remains unchanged.
