UP Board Class 9 Hindi Syllabus 2025: Like every year, UPMSP introduced the UP Board Class 9 Hindi syllabus 2025 which focuses on the overall development of the students language skills. As Hindi is our national language, it becomes a responsibility of every student to gain mastery in the subject. Keeping in view the creative and learning part, the syllabus primarily focuses on reading as well as writing skills. 

The UP Board exam class 9 hindi syllabus includes grammar, creative writing, prose, poetry and more. Additionally, the syllabus also includes letter writing, essay writing, and paragraph writing, helping students develop their writing skills effectively. 

UP Board Class 9 Hindi Syllabus 2024-25

The UP Board Class 9 Hindi syllabus is divided into two sections:

1. हिंदी साहित्य (Hindi Literature)

2. हिंदी व्याकरण (Hindi Grammar)

The Hindi Literature portion includes prose, poetry, and other supplementary texts which includes works of famous authors and poets. It aims to enhance the reading and analytical skills i.e., analysing the texts with efficiency through stories, poems, and texts. 

The Language portion focuses on writing skills, grammar, and comprehension. It helps students strengthen their essay writing, letter writing, and sentence formation, ensuring writing proficiency. 

Marking Scheme of UP Board Class 9 Hindi Syllabus 2024-25

The subject carries 100 marks, divided into:

• Written Exam: 70 Marks

• Internal Assessment: 30 Marks 

UP Board Class 9 Hindi – Written Examination (70 Marks)

The written examination plays an important role in gaining good marks in the overall subject. Students must give importance to all the portions, especially the high weightage topics like Prose & Poetry from Textbook which carries 30 marks and the Hindi language portion which carries 15 marks. Students must gain proficiency in the written exam as it will help in higher studies.

 UP Board Class 9 Hindi – Internal Assessment (30 Marks)

The internal assessment carries 30 marks and gives an equal opportunity to students to gain higher marks in this section. The academic tests are a great chance to score well as it includes MCQs and short type questions.
