When it comes to UG and PG course admission, HP University uses the CBCS template that the UGC has put in place. The method states that students are free to select courses from a list of required courses that includes core, elective, and skill-based courses.
This implies that a student must accrue a certain minimum amount of credit hours and not more. Students may choose any combination of disciplines as long as the total credits for each subject equal the minimum number of credits needed to graduate with a degree.
The End Semester Examination (ESE) accounts for 70% of the final score, with the Continuous Comprehensive Assessment (CCA) accounting for 30%. There will be a single, fifteen-point midterm exam in CCA. Ten points will be given based on several criteria, such as term paper, assignment tutorial, and seminar. The remaining five marks will be given based on the student's attendance in class.
