Kerala NMMS exam 2023-24 : The Kerala National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is a national action intended to help economically challenged students. It is aimed specifically at eighth-grade kids registered in the Kerala government or supported institutions.
Candidates have to clear an exam to be considered for this award. The registration date for the Kerala NMMS exam 2023-24 has been extended to November 8. Students in class 8 can apply until 5 p.m. for the Kerala NMMS test for the 2023–2024 academic year on November 8 via the official website, nmmse.kerala.gov.in. The NMMS scheme aims to assist poor children in completing their secondary education by granting an annual scholarship of INR 12,000. Kerala NMMS exam 2023-24 Eligibility Criteria
- Students whose parents earn no more than Rs. 3,50,000 in total annually.
- Applicants had to be enrolled in eighth grade at a reputable government or government-aided local body school in order to be eligible to take the exams.
- Students in the reserved group must have received more than 50% in seventh grade, while students in the general category must have received more than 55% in seventh grade.
- Class 8 students can apply for the Kerala NMMS exam 2023-24 through the management of their school.
- Students in Class 9 who were awarded a scholarship the year before are able to complete the NMMS scholarship form 2024 via NSP right away.
Kerala NMMS exam 2023-24 Exam pattern
The exam will be divided into two sections: the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). These sections will contain 90 questions apiece and will last one and a half hours. While the MAT assesses mental aptitude as well as Hindi and English fluency, the SAT assesses Science, Math, and Social Studies. Kerala NMMS exam 2023-24 Documents required
Students must present the following papers during the Kerala NMMS exam 2023-24 registration process:- A certificate from the village office proving that your income does not exceed Rs. 3.5 lakh. Uploading this certificate requires a file size of no more than 100 kb in PDF format.
- Caste certificates are required for students belonging to the SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribe) groups.
- Students with disabilities of at least 40% should upload Medical Board-approved PwD (Persons with Disabilities) certificates.
- A recent, passport-sized photo that was taken. The image should be uploaded in jpg/jpeg format, with dimensions of 150 200 pixels and a file size of 20 kb to 30 kb.
