MHT CET Merit List 2025: Tie Breaking Criteria

In the event of a tie, priority for a higher rank in MHT CET will be given to the student with a better score in the Math section.

If the tie remains unresolved, the student with a higher score in Physics will be ranked higher. Should the tie continue, the Chemistry score will be considered next.

If there is still no distinction, the student with a greater overall percentage in the PCM subjects from the board or qualifying exam will receive the higher rank.

If the tie persists further, the percentage scored in Mathematics in the 10+2 (or equivalent) exam will be used to break the tie.

Next, if needed, the percentage in Physics from the 10+2 (or equivalent) will be evaluated.

Finally, if all other options are exhausted, the Chemistry percentage from the 10+2 (or equivalent) exam will determine the higher rank.
