WBJEE Exam Date 2025: The WBJEE 2025 exam will be held on April 27, 2025, as a pen-and-paper test at various centres.

The application process closed on February 23, 2025, and no more applications were accepted after this date. Candidates who registered can download their admit cards online from April 17, 2025. 

 After the exam, the results will be announced, showing the candidates' scores and ranks.

Once the results are out, the counselling schedule will be released, and qualified candidates will need to participate in the counselling process for admissions.

What is WBJEE?

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state-level entrance test for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and architecture courses in West Bengal.

Conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB), it is held annually as a pen-and-paper-based test. 

 Candidates' scores determine admission to government and private colleges in the state.

The exam consists of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. After the results, qualified candidates participate in counselling for seat allotment in various institutions.

Marking Scheme

Category I - Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. An incorrect response will yield a loss of ¼ mark. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/4 (25% negative) marks.

Category II - Only one option is correct, the correct response yields two marks. An incorrect response will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield a -1/2 (25% negative) mark.

Category III - One or more options may be correct. Only correct responses will yield 2 (two) marks. There is no negative marking.

WBJEE Admit Card 2025

The WBJEE 2025 admit card will be available online from April 17, 2025, at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Registered candidates can log in using their details to download it. The admit card will contain important information like the exam centre, date, time, and guidelines.

On exam day, candidates must bring their admit card and a valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, or School ID). Without these, entry will be denied. If there are any errors, candidates should contact the authorities immediately, but exam centres cannot be changed.

WBJEE 2025 Result

The WBJEE 2025 result will be announced online on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in after the exam. Candidates can check their results by logging in with their application number and password. The result will include scores, ranks, and category-wise merit details. 

 Based on the scores, a rank card will be issued, which will be used for counselling and admission. The General Merit Rank (GMR) will determine seat allotment in engineering and technology courses. After the results, WBJEEB will release the counselling schedule, and qualified candidates must participate in the counselling process for admission into colleges in West Bengal.
