RAS Officer Salary 2026: In-Hand Salary, Pay Matrix, Post-wise Salary & Allowances

RAS Officer Salary Structure 2026

The salary of a RAS officer consists of the basic pay prescribed under the applicable Pay Matrix Level along with government allowances. The final monthly salary depends on the service, pay level, city of posting, and applicable deductions.

The exact in-hand salary varies because HRA, DA, deductions, and other admissible allowances differ according to the place of posting and the service allotted.

RAS Officer Pay Matrix Levels 2026

The official RPSC notification places different services under four different pay matrix levels.

The official notification assigns the pay matrix level individually for every service advertised through the RAS Examination. 

RAS Officer Post-wise Salary 2026

The RPSC RAS Examination recruits candidates for both State Services (192 posts) and Subordinate Services (415 posts). Every service is assigned a specific Pay Matrix Level under the Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2017. Services placed in a higher pay level receive a higher basic salary and better career progression. 

No vacancy has been notified for Rajasthan Commercial Tax Service in the 2026 recruitment, but the service continues to carry Pay Matrix Level 12. 

RAS Officer In-Hand Salary 2026

Although the exact in-hand salary depends on DA, HRA, TA, posting location, and deductions, officers appointed under Pay Matrix Level 14 generally receive a monthly in-hand salary significantly higher than the prescribed basic pay after applicable allowances are added. Officers in Levels 10, 11, and 12 also receive similar allowances, with the final salary increasing after annual increments and DA revisions.
